Taste. Savour. Relax.

Our tasting room is a cosy and relaxed venue where you can enjoy award-winning wines from both Scott Base Vineyard and Allan Scott’s Marlborough vineyards. A selection of local craft beer, Moa beer - founded by our winemaker Josh Scott, is also on offer - both on tap and bottled. With a cellar door menu of light bites and platters, it’s the perfect venue for a taste experience and to unwind and relax. Indoor and outdoor seating available, with a sandpit and lawn games for the kids.

4 Barrels Walking Wine Trail - On Hold

The 4 Barrels Walking Wine Trail is a great way for visitors and locals to navigate around four of Central Otago’s premium wine producers on foot. The self-paced 8 kilometre loop trail includes Misha’s Vineyard, Aurum Wines, Scott Base Vineyard and Wooing Tree Vineyard, as well as capturing some wonderful scenery through orchards and around Lake Dunstan.

The total walking time on the trail is approximately 90 minutes, though it’s recommended to plan at least 4 hours in total to allow enough time at each tasting room. Each of the tasting rooms on the trail offer a cellar door menu to keep you going! Keep checking for updates as the 4 Barrels is currently on hold.
